Not totally new, but I need some help about who to talk to on JM in general, when your having problems with members of JM? Please don't tell me the Mods of the board, becase that isn't working (especially when the person is a MOD herself, lol).

You can PM any of the Admins: Patty (pattyandthemoos), Rachel (Rachel) or Christine (Twinkle) with any questions or concerns you have about members or moderators

You can also PM the Mod directly and try to work out any issues you have or to address your concerns

I think you're mistaken about the hierarchy of JM. Hosts of the board are not necessarily moderators at JM, in that they don't have the power to remove posts, close posts and reprimand members. They are members, just like you, who are responsible for keeping the board moving, reporting problems to our forum Moderators and Administrators and making the board fun to be on.

Occasionally, one of our Moderators will host a board as well, but in that case, they do not make any moderation decisions about their board because it would be a conflict of interest. If you're having a problem on a board, the best thing you can do to get the attention of the Moderators and Administrators, is to hit the "report to moderator" button on the top of each post.

Our mods are really great here, I bet she's right that it was a host and not a mod, though I think most of our hosts are pretty good too, sorry you've been having trouble.
