aloha clarissa! i was pregnant at the same time as my (ex) sister-in-law-- with both of our first two kids! her first was also 3 months premature, so my oldest is only 2 months older than her daughter, and she was 6 weeks early with baby #2, so our daughters in 2006 were 2 months apart, to the day (hers being older).
it sounds like you and i are in the same due date club here, though-- i am just pver 18 weeks, due February 4, 2012 (but i have had my kids between 36.5 and 38 weeks, so I'm looking at another January baby, I'm 99% sure!).
I hope very much that you will join us over in the DDC of February 2012. you will find me there on an almost daily basis. I'm justJAQ (don't like my name being searchable, a it's unique and i value privacy online), short for jacqueline, naturally, but a lot of people ask, so anyway.... i am 27, also very close to you

and a single sahm from detroit, living in the NE suburbs now. My "babies" are Tim/Timmy- 8 years, Missy/Melissa- 5 years, Nicholas/Nick- now 19 months, and then my final child comes as a HUGE surprise. We also don't know the gender, but plan to TRY and see, if this one cooperates. My daughter wouldn't open those legs, and I found that a delivery surprise was one of the single most amazing experiences of my life, so I decided not to find out with Nick, either (however the tech wrote the gender on a card for my grandma, and my whole family ended up calling her and begging to know, much to MY annoyance, and the beans were spilled to me a week before I gave birth-- lucky for meeee, the darn tech was dead wrong, even at 26 weeks along, lmao!!! so everyone spent the second half of my pregnancy thinking I was having a "Nicole"... we didn't even have a boy name chosen, because I felt in my heart that I was carrying a girl [i've been wrong on all three kids so far, lol!] so they all felt really silly when I gave birth to my son... his father chose Nicholas, and believe it or not, it took weeeeeeks before I noticed it was the masculine form of Nicole, lol!!!!). but this child belongs to my bestest friend in the whole world, Brand(on) and we were both on the fence about knowing the gender in advance; i left it up to him, and he thought about it and then told me "why not? let's go for it." so i don't want to be the last one to know, trying to keep everyone from letting it slip, so I will find out too, if, like I said, the baby wants us to know, teehee. I am DONE having kids after Baby Gaga is born-- planning for a tubal as of now.
I'm very open and loooove to discuss all things pregnancy, and make friends here-- I sure hope you do too! When's your due date? Again, please visit us in the February due date club; we always loooove to get to know a new member. take care and see you around the boards, hopefully, mama.
welcome welcome, and a big congrats on your second baby-to-be. xo
