Tested positive a few days ago!

So excited, this is baby #1 for me. Have wanted kids for years. I'm married to a great guy, we finally have health insurance, and we are jumping in feet first.

It's so far a mix of excitement, caution, and being scared of doing something wrong that would hurt our little bean.

My emotions have been hormone-driven now and again, but most of the time I feel an overwhelming sense of happy relaxation. Ohhhhhmmmm.. as the username implies. Hubby thinks I am going a little nutty, immersing myself in the being-pregnant part of it. This is a place I've wanted to be at for so long that I'm relishing as many moments of it as possible.

Thank you for having a site where I can lurk and enjoy the company of other mothers-to-be. I'm looking forward to being a part of some of the many friendly threads I saw before signing up!
