Welcome to JM - I'm so sorry things have been tough for you!
I don't have kids of that age, but the one idea I thought of is: are there two possible pairs within your boys, who get on fairly well together? With two pairs you could screen off down the middle of the room, either using hangings all the way across from the ceiling, or a mixture of tall cupboards and large screens. It would depend a bit where the door is - it would need to be sort of neutral, preferably towards the middle of the room. Then the two pairs would have to be only allowed in their own half.
With or without separating the room into two, to give a sense of "ownership", you could get each of your kids to design their own bed area, if you have the beds sort of in four corners. With any posters, pictures, etc they like on the wall, even shelves - and they could help to put them up.
