Hello everyone, My name is Kristen. Im new here but I have looked at the website plenty of times. Im still confused as to how everything works and all the abbreviations everyone uses, but I guess I'll figure it out in time What I'm really looking for is a support group, My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 9 months now, with no luck I'm starting to get really discouraged and worried, especially because theres no way we would be able to afford in vitro fertilization. I wanted to reach out to other women and see if anyone out there was able to conceive naturally after trying for a while??

Hi Kristen. Welcome to JM! Have you seen our newbie guide? There's a link in there to an abbreviation list which should help.

We have a really great TTC community here. Try not to get discouraged yet. It takes a lot of perfectly healthy couples as long as a year to get pregnant. And even if you do need to get help more than likely you won't need IVF. There are so many other treatments that you can try first that are not as costly as IVF.

If you haven't tried fertility charting you may want to look into that. We have a really great board to help you get started with charting. The TTC board is really great too. I hope you will stick around!

Good luck with everything.
