I'm a mommy to 2 wonderful kids, ages 10, 4, and am expecting a surprise in December . My husband and I have had "issues" getting pregnant with all my kids, so we're excited for this very pleasant surprise. I've been a stay at home mom for the last 6 years caring for my oldest child that was severely disabled almost 8 years ago.

I received my degree in immunology and microbiology. I worked for just a couple years after college, and can't wait to someday get back in that field. But until that happens, I'm grateful for the time I get to spend with my kids at home.

I had posted on a thread that caught my attention, mainly due to my background, but my posts were deleted and someone said I needed to post in the welcome thread before I posted there. Is that common here? Do posts generally get deleted? I find it very strange that my posts were just deleted because i hadn't welcomed myself yet?

I didn't see what got deleted, was it on the thread regarding autism, vaccines and genetics?
The heated debates has a high troll rate. When people just pop in seemingly randomly, it can raise red flags.
But do stick around. As long as you're not really a troll, we love getting new members!
