Hello my name is Abigail Woodyard. I am currently 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I am very nervous and excited about being a mom. I am just wondering what am i to expect when i hear the heart beat for the first time???

I am 26 and currently 20 weeks with my second daughter. With both of them I was able to hear the heartbeat around 12 weeks

hearing the heartbeat for the first time is amazing.
you should def check out your due date club, just look for the one for the month you due in.

Welcome to JM and congratulations!

It may be awhile before you get to hear the baby's HB, depending where you live. I was told at 16wks that they didn't listen via a doppler until around 24wks because before then they can't always locate it. I'm in north-west England.
