After reading numerous posts and blogs, I was hoping to gain a few friends and join the support system you all have created. I can tell you a bit about myself:
I am 27 years old and my husband will be 32 in a few months. We just got married this past September and want to have a baby soon. I have had some serious health issues in the past, mainly due to an eating disorder which lasted for about 13 years. I am much better now, however, I am sure I have damage to my fertility as a result. I have not had a period for over a year now, and when I did have it, it was stimulated due to BC. I went off the pill last March, and to this day have not gotten it back. I went to the OB who prescribed Provera, which started it again, but I only bled for one day, and only that one time after the Provera. After the Provera I went on Clomid, and counting the cycle days, I should have gotten AF this weekend, and I did not.
I have had a transvaginal/pelvic u/s which did not show PCOS and did show multiple follicles, normal blood flow, and one small cyst on the right ovary. My hormones are all within normal limits. My husband is going for a SA this week.
I look forward to chatting with you all soon. Hope we all get that bundle of joy we are hoping so hard for. XOXO!
You would probably find lots of help and support on the TTC boards, have a look on the main forum menu page and see which one(s) would be most relevant to you. There is a specific TTC with Medical Assistance board which may be of particular interest! Good luck on your journey.
