Hello, ladies!

I am new to JM, having just joined this week. I am looking for a few boards to call home as DH and I continue on our journey of TTC #1. Been posting on some forums and just reading through a few others. I am finding out there is a ton I don't know as far as the lingo, but I am trying to catch on to that as I go.

Also, DH and I have been TTC for a year now, but we are not as hardcore on BBT and OPK's because I have PCOS and don't ovulate, let alone have AF. I have just started taking Vitex this week. We will see if that gives us any help at all.

In the meantime, I am just trying to find a place where I can spend some time and both find support and give support through this journey.

I was wondering about chat rooms though. I have seen some forums give chat times and days, but I am not seeing any active chats going on. Is this something that has been phased out but not taken off the site? Or, am I just not in the know because the links are buried in these niche boards and have yet to come across them?

Anyway, if anyone has any great insight for us while TTC or has info about chats, I welcome it.

Thanks,
Carrie

Hi and welcome to JM!. Not sure about the chats...I'm guessing it's up to the host of the board to organize. So if you are on a board that does not currently have a host, it's probably an old chat post. It the board does have a host, send em a pm to find out how to be involved in the chats

Welcome to JM!

I agree about chats, you need to ask the chat hosts on individual boards. It's not something that's being phased out site-wide but over time sometimes chat slots are arranged that then become inactive.

This might help with some of the lingo:

I'm Sharron, 38, UK mummy to Daniel and Michaela, co-host of the Spiritual Living and Readers & Writers boards, and always looking to recruit any UK/Ireland ladies for the regional board as well.

Hope to see you around!
