I'm Katt and I'm 24. I recently got married and moved from my homeland England, UK to Sweden as my husband is from there.
I'm a first time mom to be and extremely anxious. I mention that because I have anxiety and panic attacks and IBS. Oh and here in Sweden they only believe in midwife led care and first trimester check ups are pretty much non existent. My first appointment is next week to ask me about my smoking, drinking and depression if any.
I'll read around and see what kinda advice there is as I have no one to talk to here and seeing a doctor here in Sweden about my worries is like talking to a brick wall. They pretty much tell you to go get fresh air, eat healthy and exercise - but did I mention you're dying of cancer? Their pharmacies are more stocked with herbs and potions than real life saving drugs. Enough ranting!
This is me, possibly 6 weeks pregnant and not loving life in Sweden so much. xoxo
I wish I could help you, I'd try posting in some of the pregnancy forums to see if anyone can assist you, or try the UK/Ireland subforum...maybe one of those ladies might know someone who has given birth in Sweden. Good luck!
