Hi, I'm new here. I am a 29 year old second grade teacher who has been off BCP since April. My husband and I have not had any luck thus far. I seem to be having problems ovulating (haven't seen AF since July 26). I'm currently taking hormones to make me have a period and then hopefully I'll start ovulating again. It's nice to have a place to come to and communicate with others in the same situation. I may have to go on Clomid if things don't regulate within three or four months. Anybody else out there have a similar situation. Best of luck to all of you out there! Thanks
Hi and welcome to JM! I am a newbie myself. I went through the same thing you are experiencing. Got off BCP in January, nothing happened for months. Finally, the dr. put me on Clomid at the end of July. Then another round the next month. Turns out we got pregnant on the first round, but it wasn't showing positive yet. Keep your spirits up. The Clomid worked great and it won't hurt you if you need to go that route. Hopefully, if you do end up doing the Clomid, you will only need one or two cycles of it. They say the longer you are on it, the higher your risk for ovarian cysts will be.
