Hello everyone! I'm new to the message boards. I am due with baby number 3, Ryan Nathaniel. on December 16th. I have a lot of questions, which you would think is weird since this is my third child, but this pregnancy seems different.
It's been 5 years since I've given birth.
I woke up yesterday morning at 3:30am because I felt this really sharp pain in my abdomen. I went to the bathroom and when I tried to walk back into bed, I got really sharp twinges in my perenial area. Then I laid in bed through 2 hours of Braxton Hicks (I hope) contractions. Yesterday afternoon, I had 3 different people tell me I looked as though the baby had dropped. I've felt a lot of lower pressure, back aches and now my feet are swollen. I go to the doctor today for my check up, but I was just wondering if anyone else is having similar symptoms?
I was induced with my first 2 children, so I've never had a real labor.
I feel so silly because you would think I could tell the difference between false and true labor. Do you think maybe this is an onset?
Look forward to hearing from you all!
