I just wanted to give you all a bit of hope and encouragement! We TTC for a year before going for tests, i had wacky cycles going ranging 32-56 days so i thought the problem lay with me. Blood tests proven although irregular i was ovulating just fine. When my DH went for his s/a we just guessed it's be ok and it was just our timing since my cycles were so unpredictable, unfortunately my DH's s/a came back with a low count and low motility! We went to see a RE and he told us our only hope of conceiving would be IVF with ICSI. Here in the UK we have free health services but some services you have to pay for. IVF is free if you have no ther living children under 16 and we have an 8 year old daughter so we would have to pay. We didn't have enough in savings so we decided to stop TTC while we saved up the money for the IVF. Our RE appt was at the end of Sep 2007 and on Oct 29th 2007 i got my BFP...............all on our own!! I tested by chance because my boobs were sore, i hadn;t had af in 7 week but that was not unusual for me.............
On the 18th july i gave birth to a beautiful 9lb baby girl, charlotte!!!
Don't give up hope girls because it can happen, even against the odds!!!
Just wanted to add to this thread.............when i posted about my natural BFP after DH being diagnosed with severe MFI and the arrival of our beautiful miracle baby girl i didnt know i would be celebrating another BFP a few weeks later. I am pregnant again, 35 weeks in fact!
My DH had counts of 1.9 million and 3 million yet we have managed to have 2 babies in the space of a year, dont ever give up hope!!
Thank you so much for your stories I needed to here this today we found out recently that DH has low Motility so we will probably need to do an IUI. Thanks again for sharing!
I am also a success. My D had a count of 7 mil and was on Androgel for low T. We manage to conceive after 5 cycles and had our 2nd baby in November. Never give up hope.
wow thanks so much for posting you just gave me loads of hope. my DH's count was 16million,his motility was low but morphology was good .we did get pregnant last september on our own but sadly I lost it at 5 weeks, and we have been unlucky sence.
But thanks for the hope!.
