How was your weekend ladies?
Mine, was well, interesting. We put up the tree Saturday. It' pre-lit, so of course it took forever to fluff out the branches and make it look right, not counting decorating time. I hate fluffing the tree because the fake trees make me itch for some reason. Well, the tree was beautiful & we enjoyed sitting in the living room with a fire going and the tree lit up. We have 3 cats, so I told DH to be prepared, that we might have ornaments pulled off & played with, or even the tree knocked over possibly. (This is 1st year we've had 3 inside cats) I get up Sunday morning pretty earily, because I thought I heard a noise. I open my bedroom door & walk into the living room & I am shocked at what I find. MY TREE WAS BROKEN!!! I don't mean knocked over, I mean almost destroyed! The cats got up in the tree & sat on the branches & broke/bent the supports on them, so that the branches just hang there limp instead of straight out!! Boy was I pissed off! We had some squirting with water bottle, & some kitty butt whooping going on! It took me almost 2 hours to make the tree look even halfway decent! I had to actually bend the limbs, the entire limbs so it wouldn't look like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree! I should have taken a picture, but I was too mad! So, when we went to church, kitties went into lockdown, and when we went to bed, we picked the tree up and put it in the spare bedroom! The things we have to do!
