The 'unofficial report' is maturation issues (they sent the samples out to a more sophisticated lab and we'll hear in the beginning of March). A specific name for what's happening will be nice, but at least we know there's something. There are sperm, just very few have fully matured...explaining their absence in the ejaculate.
So, at least a bio child isn't completely ruled out for us yet, and hopefully we can figure out why they aren't maturing, and/or mature them in the lab for IVF... I'm really relieved... but not completely, since I don't know yet how that'll all go...
Oh, and best thing EVER... our 'regular' urologist referred us the the RE that uses the MFI Urology specialist by the name of.... Dr. Sieman... HAH! That got a giggle out of us at the appointment, lol... even the doc...
I hate to be nosey but where is this dr located?? Just curious b/c there is a dr in my area with a similar name I'm wondering if it's the same. I sure hope that things go well. I have a feeling my dh and I will have to go that route also. How bad was the biopsy for him? Did they put him to sleep?
