Hi Girls,
I was curious if any of your DH/SO has had infertility related to chronic prostate infections? My DH went for about a year-dealing with this. It was very nerve-wrecking as his father had prostate cancer at 40. (DH is 31) However, we have been TTC #1 for only a couple months now without luck.(I temp, chart and use OPK and I feel like we usually know our window of opportunity) Of course, I know that it could/can/will take awhile, but I was curious if anyone had any imput on this subject. DH usually blames himself each month, and I feel awful. I go to my annual in October and we thought if we do not have a BFP by then, we would send him back to his urologist before I go to the dr, to rule him in or out of our situation...

Well, I don't know anything about chronic prostate infections, but my first recommendation is for you to get a SA done. That way a urologist will be able to tell you if your DH is the issue.

to what Esmy said. I'd see the urologist asap and request a SA, and they can give you more info on prostate infections.

Thanks girls. He was treated for the infections and the Urologist said if we have problems to come see him. I think we will wait until August or September before we go back to him. Im really glad that noone knew much about this, maybe its not that big of a deal **crossing fingers** Thanks again!
