I figured it would be easier to start a new Thread every month so we dont end up with one thread that has a lot of pages.

You know the drill, you can post anything you want.. you can be as random as you please. lol.. the goal is to just keep it going!

Ugh, JM has been a pain in the butt to me today! Every time I tried to go to any board, it said it couldn't be displayed! Now, I am finally able to get in here!

Well, had huge temp jump this am, so I def. ovulated yesterday

Guess we'll wait and see what happens in about 2 weeks!

Good afternoon ladies!

We all have been a little quiet lately. Nothing new with us really, we're waiting for a response from the insurance appeal and have begun to research the banks to choose a donor. That part is going to be difficult and we're approaching it a little at a time. We hope to do the IUI next cycle regardless of whether the insurance company gets back to us. I'm on CD8 now, so we have @ a month. Wish me luck. . .

Esmy - yay for starting a new chat thread!

Brandi - yay for Oing!!!

April - I can't believe you're all set for your IVF. It seemed like a short time ago, you were having to wait months for it. And are you getting settled in okay here in Maryland? I think of you when I'm on Ft. Meade or at the Arundel Mills mall.

I agree Becky, it does seem just like it was a week ago when April was saying it was going to be a couple months before IVF. Wow, where has time gone?

I agree, time has flown by.. but then again up until 3 weeks ago, I was living my life in 4 week intervals... LOL

LOL yeah the time has flown... tomorrow will be the transfer and then my Beta will be on the 15th.. I'll most def. test before then though.

Becky - I hope you can get it all figured out with ya'lls insurance... that really doesn't seem fair

It's not fair with my insurance company, and it took me several tries to get my appeal letter written as I was/am so angry about it. I basically am only asking for equitable coverage. They cover artificial insemination (IUI) and IVF for same sex couples which would obviously have to use donor sperm as 2 women are 100% unable to provide their own sperm. So from a medical perspective, DH & I fit the same criteria as he is 100% unable to provide his own sperm. So now we just have to wait for their response. If they still continue to deny it, I can take it farther including up to a court case. Hopefully it won't do that far.

So, what's the weather like for everyone today? It's been rainy here for several days, but it looks like the sun is peaking out and it may be a little drier for a nice change.

Becky, I hope that your insurance cooperates and gives you and Tony equitable coverage. It's only fair. If they don't, you might just have to 'come out of the closet'

The weather here is straight up sh*tty. We are under a tornado warning at the moment, and the crappy weather is going to be seriously sh*tty all day. Ugh! And what makes it worse is that since David is on the vol. fire dept. here, he has to go to the fire station and open it up during tornado warnings, so I'm sitting here all by myself! I don't get seriously scared during bad weather, but when it gets bad, I'd prefer to have him here with me, kwim?

with the insurance, DH & I have been joking that we'll just change his name to Toni. Maybe that'll work.

Have we heard anything from April on how the transfer went today? I haven't had a chance to lurk on the other boards.

I'm back from our transfer! Well, I have been for awhile but haven't gotten online until now.

Everything went great! We transferred 2 perfect 5 day blastocysts! Our doc gave us about a 65% that this will work and about a 40% chance of twins! SOOOooo happy!!!

Well.......I had a thought.... how rude of me to keep going in and out of this thread without dropping in to say hello especially since I was THRILLED to see this section of the site when I joined........ then I thought... well if the ladies in here are anything like the rest of the ladies i ve met I m sure they dont think your rude...... but by then I had already decided to post. Confused anyone yet.... no... ohh ok.. give me time

Seriously though... I really was glad to see this in the list of threads. Its normally like.. hushhhhhh.... when it shouldnt be.

Just a quick background without putting you all to sleep.

I have 2 sons from a previous marriage. In 2004 I married Jon and we have been ttc since. We had a round of ICSI IVF in 2007 which resulted in twins. Unfortunately they never got to walk... only fly and we lost them on New Years Eve 2007/8. We then tried a round of IUI and clomid which resulted in resulted in a rush to emergency with leaking toxins from something (amaizing how sometimes you just dont seem to get a straight answer from a DR but anyway) As for Jon..... origionally his motility and morphology were at 0% but with over 12 months of herbs and accupuncture as well as giving up smoking they are now Motility 25% Slow 25% Non Progresive 10% Imotile 40% Normal Morphology 0% So we have a major improvement in Motility but no improvement in Morphology.

So basically thats where we are up to. He continues to take his herbs, we ve put accupunture on hold for the moment because we have just moved and we are regathering ourselves to see if we have the strength to try another cycle of ICSI IVF or whether we will be blessed for it to work naturally now that they at least know how to swim and which direction

So to the ladies I ve already met.... hello again... to everyone else... I look forward to getting to know you all much better

Becky, the weather got bad around us, but luckily not here. Tornadoes are sooo common around here, but they still make me nervous sometimes.

I am sooooo sore today. After church last night, I went to a friend's house and ate supper, and then for over 4 hours, we played on the Wii, mainly the Fit. I hula hooped my butt off, ran, and kicked some serious butt in bowling! lol.

now that wouldnt surprise me to have posted and forgotten......

Ohhhh the Wii.... OMG.... try watching someone side on using it with the boxing or something similar.... Ohhhh what a laugh. I have been in serious pain not from doing the boxing but from laughing at the person boxing. It is the funniest site.

Brandi - tornadoes scare me too. Thankfully they're not that common where we live. They've had some hit more eastern and south eastern Maryland though. **shudders**

I love my Wii Fit - havent played in awhile though

Im not sure when I'll start testing... I know I'll test over the weekend to make sure the trigger shot is gone... but otherwise I dont know

April04..... havent actually done Wii Fit.... we have it because I have to buy it for hubby for him to do his snowbording thing on it..... (goodness... how unsupportive of hubby.... if i cared i would know the name.... oh well... i ll live) anyway had to get it for that but I Just look at that poor little white squareish looking thing and think.... you really dont want me standing on you

Mornin' everyone.... I tested yesterday.. the trigger shot is out of my system now.. I don't know when I'll test for real I'm nervous... I really dont know one way or the other on how to think..
