Hey ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself to all of you, since I'll probably soon be TTC #2 and going through the whole chaos of fertility stuff again. A little about us... I'm 27, DH is also 27, and we were diagnosed with severe MFI 3 yrs ago (I don't remember the numbers, but the count, morphology, and motility were all extremely poor). We were told at the time that our chances of ever getting pregnant on our own were slim to none, so we jumped into IVF with ICSI. After 1 failed cycle and 1 miscarriage, we ended up switching to IUI with donor sperm. Our 2nd round of that gave us our son, who's now 21 months old. I made an appointment with my RE for a couple of weeks from now, and I guess at that point we'll figure out what we're going to do this time around. We don't want to go back to IVF, so most likely it'll be IUI with the same donor.

Strangely, though, I've been having tons of pregnancy dreams lately. I think it's because I'm starting to think about the whole thing again and the months and months I'm going to spend obsessing about getting pregnant... but a small part of me hopes we could be one of those miracles who somehow get pregnant naturally even though we were told it would never happen. You know, all the people who say that as soon as they booked an appointment with an RE, they found out they were pregnant naturally... yeah, I want to be one of them. But meanwhile, we've got that appointtment set, so I'm excited to get going!

I know what you mean! I wish you the best of luck!

Personally, my DH and I are dealing with a sperm count of ONE. Not ONE MILLION, just ONE. Oh, and the one that comes out isn't swimming either! We have made some jokes about it... but, hopefully, his urologist will give us some options soon.

Welcome!

Hello & to the board!! I'm Becky (35), DH is Tony (35). We've been TTC #1 for a while now, but took several months off this year from TTC. On my end I have PCOS, and we found out this year that DH is completely infertile (Klinefelters & zero spermies). We just finished our 1st cycle IUI using donor sperm, and were unfortunately unsuccessful. I head in to the RE's office today (I'm on cd3) for b/w & u/s and hope to be cleared to try again this cycle. I hope you don't have to wait long for your BFP and I look forward to getting to know you!!!
