Hey there ladies. I just have some questions and figure you ladies would be the best people to ask.
I just recently found out that I was pregnant for the first time on October 5th and then miscarried on October 28th at 7 weeks and 4 days. The reason why I'm thinking it might be a problem with Michael and not me is because:
1. He suggested it.
2. He suggested it because he had gotten ex's pregnant in the past and all of the pregnancies resulted in miscarriages. This is his 4th or 5th miscarriage.
Clearly, he is not infertile as he is able to get women pregnant. But, could there be something else wrong with his sperm/reproductive system that is causing all of these miscarriages? I've never really heard of such a thing, but then again, I may have just been living under a rock since no one in my family has had issues like this.
Both of the other women that he had gotten pregnant were high risk to begin with for various reasons, but, I wasn't. I was considered "normal and healthy". Even still, 5 miscarriages seems like a lot to be "coincidence". I'm absolutely petrified to get pregnant again because going through that miscarriage was awful and I know it's going to take a while for me to bounce back and want to get pregnant again. But in the mean time, I was thinking we should look into testing for Michael and see what is going on. I know most doctors won't run tests on me since my family history looks good, this was my first pregnancy, and otherwise all around I'm "normal and healthy"... but I really think someone should be willing to run tests on him? Where would we even go for this sort of thing? I saw a bunch of you mentioning urologists, so is that where we would go for testing for him?
I'm sorry I probably sound really silly, this is just all so new to me. I didn't know much else could be wrong with the male besides being infertile. But I looked into it a little and it seems like there could be other factors. Now I'm just trying to figure out what those other factors are and where we go to figure them out.
Any and all advice/input is more than welcome! Thanks in advance!
