DH is going to be taking Clomid until we do our next IVF cycle. He will also be getting a very small variocele repair surgery in Feb. His urologist said he wouldn't normally recommend the surgery on a small variocele, but since we are going to explore every route to getting more than 5 sperm it was worth a shot. He did tell us about the medical miracles who start producing 20 mil. in their ejaculate, but my guess is that won't be us (me being cautiously pessimistic). I am just hoping they can get a hundred or so to come out so DH doesn't need the TESE at the next IVF. He will be getting a s/a done in May (I think) to see if the surgery and/or Clomid has made any difference in what's coming out. I would be ecstatic if we found out we could actually try naturally, but I don't want to get my hopes up. So, assuming there is no-not much change in DH's s/a we will be doing IVF # 2 in either June or July.
DH has been such a great guy and has had no objections to any surgeries or medicines or anything that has been recommended to potentially help. I knew he wanted to be a dad, but I never realized it was this much

I just hope that after going through all of this we will be successful.
