Hello I have a question does anyone know about liquefaction and what it is? From what I read that my DH's takes 115 min. Does this mean that he cant get me pregnant? Or it just takes longer for the sperm to get to my egg?

Help...from what I understand everything else is normal just this is a little off! Oh and I think the PH level was a little high does anyone know what that means as well!

I don't know a whole lot about it, my DH has zero sperm coming out, so we are dealing with a different issue. Hopefully your/his doctor will be able to give you some answers and what to do! KUP!

As far as the liquefaction time- sperm comes out as like a gel form and then turns into liquid. Normally within 20 minutes after ejaculation the semen will go from the gel to a liquid. So you dh probably takes longer than 20 minutes. And the ph measures the acidity of the sperm. A long liquefaction time could be sign of an infection. And for the ph if it is too high or too low it could kill the sperm or effect the ability for it to move toward the egg. What did your doctor say about these results? Did he sugguest anything?
