Hi everyone! My name is Christine. My DH got results back from his SA today and I didn't know if anyone here might be able to help me interpret them until I speak with my Dr. The lab assistant said she thinks everything looks good, but from what I am reading online I am not so sure.

The count is good at 201.5 million, pH is 8.0 (which depending on the website you go to seemed just a tad high). This is the part that possibly worries me: Rapid progression motility was 23%, sluggish was 22% and 47% were immobile. I am not sure what this means: viability that was indicative of motility was 30% or more. Liquification was complete, viscosity normal.

Any input? I know I don't usually post over here so thanks for you help!

I can't really help, as my DH has 0 spermies, so we didn't get any info but that count looks wonderful, so hopefully the other numbers are in the good range too! Hopefully somebody will have some insight on your results.

Did your doctor give you recommendations? I suggest you make an appt and have a discussion with your doctor what to do next. Sounds like IUI is best option.

The count is fabulous. My DH's was 8.2 million with ZERO motility.

I hope you get answers soon!

I'm not sure why you got three motility scores but my DH was at 9.8 million, 29% motility and 3.5% morphology. We had an appt with an RE the other day and he told us it was still possible for us to get pregnant naturally but it would probably take longer. He wants us to try on our own for 3 cycles with me on Clomid and then move on to IUI for 3 cycles with Clomid.

Do you have another appt to talk about the results???
