Does your RE ever recommended anything to improve DHs sperm count? If so, what?

My RE has suggested that DH quit drinking his occasional beers and take daily multi vits along with Zinc. He stopped drinking on New Years day and stopped smoking last April (his last SA was in June at his count was 7 million) We plan on doing another SA on the anni of his "quit smoking" to see if that has helped it.

Nope. Our old RE told us that if the S/A is a little bit abnormal, they'd encourage behavioral changes. But when it's as bad as ours, there'd be very little gain to any lifestyle changes, so it probably isn't even worth it.

Our RE told DH to quit sitting in hot tubs, taking hot baths, and wearing tight bike shorts. We didn't really have an MFI problem, but he was encouraging DH to do his part to make sure we had every last sperm we possibly could. I'm pretty sure DH got the easy end of the whole infertility deal

I'm sure all these lifestyle changes could help things out & I hope you have great news when you do the repeat S/A. With DH having no spermies, the RE obviously couldn't recommend any changes for us.
