THANK YOU!!!!! I am SUPER excited to be the host of this board! Let me tell you a little about myself...

My name is Keri. I am 23 and married to Mike, 25. We live in Arizona and have no children. We have been trying to conceive since Jan 09, so just over 14 cycles. In 2006, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and last summer, we discovered Mike has super low sperm count. His count was 7 million with a less then 1% motility rate. We have done 2 IUI's with clomid and estrogen assistance. We plan on doing another SA in May, along with another IUI.

As for this board, I plan on encouraging lurkers to come out of hiding. I hope to create fun and interesting topics to keep everyone interested in the board. I hope to establish great relationships with everyone to make everyone 'feel at home'. I am open to any suggestions on new topics so please feel free to PM me with any questions, concerns or suggestions.

Tell me a little bit about you?? How long have you been TTC?

We have been ttc since Oct. 09. We've been married since 06 and were kind of NTNP/ actively not ttc since we got married. My mom had a lot of problems getting pg, so I always worried that I would. Almost a year into ttc I decided I wanted to start the testing early and we found out that DH has 0 sperm. We are dealing solely with MFI, I have a clipped right ovary from an appendectomy, but have no egg issues or anything like that. Needless to say we were shocked last August when we found that out. We tried IVF in Dec. with donor sperm as a backup. They did a fresh sperm harvest on DH and as of when we left the RE's office they hadn't found any sperm and we accepted using donor sperm. We got a call on our way home that they found 4 sperm. The next morning they found 1 more, however that cycle ended with a BFN. That crushed me and I am STILL trying to recover from that. I don't know that I have it in me to do another IVF cycle, with only a 20% chance of it working if things stay the same with DH. He is currently on Clomid to try and increase his sperm production. We're waiting on the results of his first bloodwork to see if the Clomid dose he's on is increasing his hormones at all. If it is he sticks with this dose and in April gets another s/a to see if there are any sperm coming out. If not I guess we up his dose of Clomid and see next month on blood work. We still have a lot to decide with our plan of making a baby, but we're taking it a day at a time, as hard as that is.
