......I think. I'll explain

See, I am on CD35 today, which is a pretty long cycle compared to normal. Each one of my cycles that I have 'recorded' since last May, have been 29-30 days. So again, this cycle is pretty long. I do not know when I ovulated because I did not chart or check CM. So I could have just O'd late, but I don't know. I tested with a FRER this morning and got a BFN.

Other ladies on ttc w/ endo board convinced me to try and get a blood test done. When I called my RE today, the receptionist flat out told me "You're not pregnant if you got a negative urine test so you shouldn't bother getting a blood test to check" What the heck right!!!?? I WAS SOO MAD!!! She didn't even ask what CD I'm on, what kind of 'issues' I have...Obviously I have issues seeing how I go to a fertility specialist. So, I just thought that was pretty rude and inappropriate for her to say.

So, I guess I wait for AF and I plan on testing again tomorrow morning...just in case.! What do you all think of that? Have any of you -- or know of anyone who has received a negative preg test before a positive test? If so, what CD were they on before finally getting the beautiful positive?

BAD NEWS _X-posted_

So as I was enjoying a fabulous dinner with DH, I started having super bad cramps. Two thoughts came to my mind: AF was on her way OR I needed to use the restroom. So as soon as we got home, I went potty and discovered SHE was here. I just sat there with my jaw to the floor. I REALLY thought this was the month. The first thought that came to mind was "What caused her to be so late!"...Now that just opens up a whole other deal of issues....back on Clomid we go!!
Anyways, I walk into the living room, looked at DH and said "I'm bleeding". The look in DHs eyes was terrible. I mean, he looked so sad. We sat down and discussed our feelings.
First, DH reminded me that now we get to BOTH have fun on our cruise next month, having margaritas on the beach!! So that put a little smile on my face. Next, I know now that I will definitely finish my fall semester without going into labor. Last, we have agreed to NOT try at all next cycle (for purposes of the cruise). I will go on Clomid within the next few days to make sure my next cycle is on time. But again, we will not try this next cycle. The following cycle, If everything goes as planned and ON TIME- I will be ovulating ON the cruise!!!!!! That is the cycle we will try next on (end of April). Since day one that we booked our cruise last December, everyone has told us "You'll get pregnant on the cruise cause you will be relaxed". If it wasn't for me being "late" this cycle, I wouldn't be ovulating on the cruise. BUT NOW because it was late- If everything from here on out goes in time (like it has been for 8 months) we may have a cruise baby!!!

I am so sorry that AF showed! I think relaxation plays a big part in all of this, and I am hoping that you come home from the cruise with a lot more than a tan!! Where are you guys going?

Thanks ladies. I'm REALLY hoping that our cruise will help us relax and help us make a little baby.
We are going to Mexico for 5 days in honor of our one year wedding anni that is on April 17....we figured that we better go on one more cruise before we have kids!!
