I don't know about you, but I always fantasize about how I will tell DH about our BFP. I must change my 'idea' every week. And what about the parents? Oh boy!! I've got ideas for that too!! Lets hear about every ones cute and fun ideas on how they wish to tell DH and family about thier BFPs. Maybe it will give others some good ideas too!

When I get my BFP, I plan on buying a shirt that says "Soon to be daddy". I'll put it in a Walmart bag or something and tell DH that I bought him a shirt (I buy him new shirts all the time so It wont be obvious) and then he'll read the shirt!!

As for the family, they are hard to trick. So I am going to write "IM PREGNANT" on my belly in black marker- I'll go to my moms house and say to my mom "I have this rash on my belly, can you look at it?" and when I lift my shirt up to show her, it will read "IM PREGNANT!" --I plan on doing that to DHs parents too!

Those are such cute suggestions!!

With us, I couldn't keep it inside to do something really cute for DH so I told him on the way home from work. (We carpool together) We'd taken a pg test the Saturday before, and it had a very faint line. I just couldn't believe it. I took another test Sunday and again didn't believe it was a possibility. When I shared those tests with a few of my JM girls here, they convinced me it was real so I tested at lunchtime at work on Monday. That evening I just couldn't keep it inside so told DH then.

We did tell his brother & SIL in a cute way though. We made a shirt (did an iron on transfer) for their daughter (who had turned 2) that had Elmo holding a sign saying I'm going to be a big cousin. Here's a pic, it's a bit blurry as she was so happy showing off her Elmo shirt. She's a big Elmo fan.
