Hi all,

I've been away from the boards for a few months and have now officially been diagnosed as "infertile" with Male factor infertility - azospermia. My husband has a series of tests this months (re-test the seaman, blood work, ultrasound, genetics testing). The fertility doctor that we saw said our only hope of ever conceiving is IVF if they can find sperm.

Since we know we have to go for the "big guns" and the big cost I was looking for information on IVF grant programs, I've found a few but not many. Does anyone know of any? The only one that looks somewhat promising is BUMPS.

Yea...IVF isn't a cheap thing. Some people save and save for years. Although, some insurances cover them. Its a another hurdle all of us have to think about

i just read those and i started getting stressed so i backed off. I am up right now because I couldn't sleep. My hubby always says to have faith and I do but sometimes faith just really doesn't help a broken heart.

I know. Sometime faith doesn't seem like enough. I'm not sure how I get through each month...I cry sometimes, other times I get mad. But- I just keep trying to tell myself that It will happen ....someday

how long have you been trying? This site has been my life saver. I have met so many dear girls here. I just wish there was someone close who understood my heartache. I can't very well show it to my hubby he has enough to deal with.

Those IVF grants.... their checklist are ridiculous. I don't think I'd get a grant. Thank God I live in a mandated state... DH is going to get a job so we can get health insurance with benefits.

TTC with MFI is not easy. Just keep having faith. I've been at this since 2006 naturally and found out dh had mfi sept 2008 sooooo I keep going knowing I will be a Mommy! It's not my timing yet!
