I'm back from my RE appointment and while it was truly a roller coaster ride of talks and discussions, I really, really liked him and his staff. There were no surprises of what he told us. Basically, we have had 4 doctors now involved with our case, and they are all saying the same thing. IVF w/ ICSI. So be it. If that's what it is going to take, then we are on board.

I can start BCP as soon as I get my period. Get my cycle 3 day blood tests. Schedule the SIS (??) thing where they look at my uterus, and do another thing where they look at my mucus or something?? and start the stem shots the following month. Transfer sometime around the end of May and know by June if we are pregnant or not! Pretty crazy how that can all work out so fast. We literally found out about D's MFI three weeks ago! I am feeling blessed that we have an answer, even though it's quite an expensive answer, at least we have it. I know that some ladies do not get that as soon as I did, and so for that, I thank God above! Now, we just have to be realistic about our chances of it working the first time, second time, third time or at all! I'm not sure if you plan for the worst of hope for the best?

I really was nervous I wouldn't like this doctor and have to go around interviewing several. But, as my hubby pointed out to me, if we like him, why would we even bother to "shop" around? He's a small clinic but that really doesn't mean much to me. He was everything I wanted him to be, lol! Anyone doctor that can answer all my questions without making me feel like I was taking up his time is worth a try!!

This is great!!!!!! Im so excited for you!! I bet you feel so great just knowing you have a for sure plan now...and that your 'that' much closer to having your miracle baby!! YAY!! Keep us posted on you IVF journey...we want to know everything
