Well the DR's office called and told my husband the results of his bloodwork.
so they tell him that his FSH is High and his Testosterone is Low .. Ok so I don't know what to make of this or even know what it means. They are also sending him the paper work to go have another Sperm count test done again since it's been quite awhile. Then I guess we will have to see what happens next. Does anyone have any idea what this all means and is there anything they can do to help him so it will help me so I can get prego?

Thanks for your help

Wendy

I'm on it. Doing research. Will get back to you as soon as I have something helpful. So far I found many websites with information overload. It seems that high FSH in a man is like high FSH in a woman. According to the texts I'm reading, high FSH in a guy is usually because of testicular failure, and treatment depends on the cause (they will give testosterone replacement, etc). Sometimes, there is no treatment, but IVF with ICSI has been used with success. I will post more when I find out more.

A little more---it seems they should check his thyroid function and some other labs, because they can raise FSH.

Thanks! I guess what we are going to do is do the new sperm count test and go from there with what the Dr recommends. Thanks for your help.
