Just wanted to share my success story with everyone, I know that during my years of infertility it really helped to hear that conceiving a baby of our own could be possible. I am 29 yrs old and my husband is 35. My husband was diagnosed with low sperm count and mobility back in 2004!! We actively tried to have a baby for 7 yrs with no success!! We were told by various doctors that we had less then a 5% chance of ever concieving on our own and would have to have medical intervention. I charted my temps, bought ovulation kits, had intercourse every other day and nothing seemed to work. During these years I was going to school to be a registered nurse and we didn't have the money to pay for in vitro which we were told would be our only chance. Even after I graduated and got a job as a nurse mine nor my husbands insurance covered infertility. Then a year and half ago we decided that our best option was to try to adopt through the state. Being a nursery nurse I can in contact with many baby's that didn't have a home and my heart went out to them. I contacted a social worker and set u an appointment to meet to begin our case study. I told everyone of our plans to adopt and started to get our house ready. A month later, the actual day of my appointment with the social worker, I realized that I was a week late on my period. I bought a test at the dollar store, and lo and behold it was positive!!! After trying to make a baby for 7 yrs it was my first positive test!! Now a year and a half later I have a bueatiful baby girl that we concieved naturally. I just want to let everyone know that it is possible and those 7 yrs of tears and frustration was worth every minute to hold my baby girl. Good luck to everyone and God bless!!
