Hello ladies! My name is Christie (29) and my DH is Chris (32) and we are ttc #2! Well long story short I have PCOS and endometriosis and have had both since about the age of 18. We tried on our own for 2 years to have our son Braydon and then after I had him in 2002 my hubby deployed. We started trying again in April of 2003 and the military docs (assuming it was my problems) just put me on different meds hoping to get me pg. Finally about 8 months ago we got a new doc and she put me on metformin for 6 months. My DH just got back from Afghanistan in October so we've been really trying since then. Finally, she sent me for an HSG and him a semen analysis.... and wouldn't ya know it they've been wrong all these years. My uterus is perfect, tubes are wide open and I'm ready to rock! Hubby, not so much, he has a low count and now we are waiting impatiently for the docs orders to come down the line so we can go to the RE! Hoping to get things rolling really quick since he leaves for more schooling the 1st of June until mid-July and then will deploy back to the desert the 1st of September for 8 more months! I'm totally on a time crunch and hoping things go well! Can't wait to chat with you all and thanks for reading!

Christie

Hi Christie!!! I am 23 DH is Mike, 25, We tried to conceive for 14 months with a 7 million count and %5 motility and JUST got our first BFP 2 weeks ago!

We used Instead Cups-- They are typically used for menstruation but have been used for fertility. We got them at the drug store for about $8 and used one cup each time we BD. I DEFINITELY recommend those!!

I hope you get your BFP before your hubby leaves!!! I'll be rooting for you! Welcome to the board and keep us posted!

Hello Christie my name is Tiara I am 26 years old my husband is 35 years old we got married in November of 2005. We have been TTC for year now we just got the devastating news about 3 weeks ago that my husband’s SA came back abnormal his sperm count was 10.5 million motility was at 29% and morphology was 3%. So right now we are working with a urologist he has to have a repeat SA in a month. I just joined this board not to long ago and it really helps. Hope you get some more answers when you get an appointment with the RE. Welcome and looking forward to talking with you more take care.

Christie! I'm a grad here, but like to pop in and check on you ladies! I'm Becky (35 for another month), DH is Tony (36). On my end, I have a few issues including PCOS and general age. After a year of TTC and like you the docs assuming it was me and being on different meds, we started working with an RE and discovered DH had severe MFI, basically no spermies at all. We took a few months off, before deciding to proceed with IUI using donor sperm. We were successful our 2nd cycle, and am now expecting our son any day now. I wish you the best of luck & hope you don't have to wait too much longer for that BFP!!

I'm a newbie too. I'm Amanda (30) DH Joe (31). We are also TTC #2. DS (2) was a total surprise a month after we got married, so it was our surprise when we kept trying for number two and no luck. We tried for one year and we went in for a SA and DH's count is 47 mil, motility 31%, morphology 5%. The doc wants to wait 3m from the first SA to do a confirming test. In the mean time I put DH on all sorts of vitamins praying for a BFP but hard to keep getting my hopes up and then having them trampled on when AF shows up. I'm glad I found this board!

Hi,
I still check in on the boards from time to time, but we've been TTC for 24 months, and I've practically given up now. We're on the waiting list for IVF with ICSI in 2011.

Hello welcome to this board. I'm Aaron Nicole (29) and DH is 34 and we are waiting to do IVF/ICSI in 2011. We started actively TTC in Aug 2006 until Sept 2008 we found out DH had severe MFI.. so we continued TTC until last month we decided let it happen naturally until we get to do IVF/ICSI in 2011. We are not ttc actively right now because it has turned me into obsessive person and gets me upset every month so I dont need that. I'm focusing on school to get me by to kill time because 2011 seems so far away!

Hi Christy, welcome to the board.
my name is Lisa. my DH and I have been TTC sence our M/C in September of 08. had a SA done a year ago which showed low volume 1ml, low count (16million) good morphology 30%, low motility (only 8% moving progressively). my DH had a infection at the time of the SA so im wondering if thats why the SA was so bad.
