I'm watching a show on TLC right now that is called "Pregnant at 70"--the titles explains enough. Women having children at 60 and 70 years old.
Do you all have a 'time limit' for kids? Will you stop having children at a certain age? EX- if you want 3 kids- do you want them by a certain age or will you have try for 3 regardless of your age?

OMG I totally DVRd that to watch later! And yes I have a time limit for children! I really didn't want to have children past 30 just because I wanted to be younger when I had them so I would still be young when they left the house....but now we are going through all this I would be ok with having one now and having another when I'm 30...but Im really not having any past like 33ish.

I definitely will NOT be having kids at 60-70! I would like to be done before I'm 35, that gives me about 9 years. Hopefully we will get this show on the road before then lol!

Wow, it actually makes me angry that a woman can have kids at 60-70 and here I am struggling with everything to have my first by 33! I always wanted to have them earlier, but my first marriage ended up in divorce so here I am again I used to think I'd have an age limit, but I've already surpassed that... now, we're just hoping for before the 35 year mark for me and we'll have to re-evaluate what to do if we're still not pg by then I guess...

I missed that. I want three kids ideally, but will be happy with two (kind of hoping I'm cooking two right now). I'm 32, and had my first at 30. I wonder if Medicare covers childbirth. I bet they don't run across that very often I say power to them, but I would be a little sad for those babies, you know mom isn't going to be around forever. I had no idea that was even possible.
