Hey everyone, my name is Joanna, and while I have been a member of JM for over 3 years, I am new to this board, my husband and I are trying to conceive baby # 2. We tried for over 2 years to conceive our son, my husband was diagnosed with MFI with low counts and motility, we put him on all kinds of supplements that did bring his counts up some and his motility up dramatically. Still, we were told our only hope would most likely be IVF, well we couldn't afford that so I just kept praying and made an appointment with another fertility center for a second opinion but just 24 hours before that appointment we found out we were pregnant, completely naturally, so we happily canceled our appointment and our son was born 1-25-08. So we're starting the journey of TTC # 2 and I am just praying it won't be a long journey again, we actually have been trying for about 5-6 months already this time around.

We tried this, this month Softcup Fertility Aid by Instead

I am quite skeptical of it but thought it couldn't hurt, so we'll see how things go...

I'm Sarah and my DH also has low sperm count and bad motility. He has been taking a bunch of vitamins for over 3 months now and we are getting ready to do an IUI so we'll see if the meds have worked for him!

Congrats and good luck getting #2. I have two children with a previous man, and so I don't even know if it's possible for my DBF to father a child. Gives me hope that it could eventually happen for us though.

OH! I also forgot to add that we decided to try the instead cups this time, after a lot of perusing the fertilityfriend forums and some other forums... I figured, why not? It can't HURT. When I get my positive OPK, he's going to put his sample in the cup [pulling out] and then I will add a little preseed to it and insert it.
