I swear by them!! ..most of the time.
DH and I tried to conceive with both Endometriosis and Low sperm counts for 14 months. We had 2 failed IUIs but after our RE suggested DH quit drinking and up his Zinc- we tried instead cups 3 days in a row during ovulation and we finally got our BFP that month!!!

About the instead cups~ Did you use them after BDing or did you have DH make his "deposit" in the cup and then insert it?

I had DH make his 'deposit' IN the cup-- then I would lay on my back- pillow under my hips and insert the cup (it literally slides in). I layed there for like 10 mins after...and then just layed on the couch after as well...I was a little paranoid that it would leak out but it didn't. OH- and on all 3 days, I left the cup in for about 8 hours straight (which is completely safe).
They say you can insert the cup AFTER dh has 'done the deed' in you-- but I don't suggest that because once he pulls out, stuff leaks out ya know?? So I think it just makes more sense to 'catch' all of it in the cup then insert- that way you "keep" all the good stuff inside. (sorry if thats a little graphic) just wanted to be blunt to make sure you knew exactly what to do.

i used moon cups, similair to instead cups, but they are deeper. I put them in after DTD. Sadly, not worked for us so far, but they deffo help keep everything in, which is always going to help. I would also put some pre seed into the cup.

KittyCat, I was just wondering if a Moon Cup/Diva Cup would work as well since I would rather something reusable like that than the disposable Instead cup.

Oh, wow! I never thought of using the cups that way. DH's meds make it difficult for him to complete but he has more success on his own. Happy day, thanks for the tip!

Just thought I would add my

I also bought the instead cups and preseed...we practiced last week before my cycle sorry, if it's but I think the more detail, the better. We dtd and dh finished on his own in the instead cup, I also put preseed in it....and then inserted the cup. I am not a tampon user/never have been. I was able to insert the instead cup and didn't feel it. I did a lot of research and there are mixed reviews but if it can help us get pregnant, I will do it. Hubby did have to get it out for me.....sorry again for but we are a team and both want the same outcome. We are comfortable with each others bodies. Hope this helps.
