Don't worry about being gone, I know how hard it is to be around sometimes and I too take the necessary breaks from all things ttc. instead cups are the right ones! I got mine from Walgreens and I think they have a purple wrapper. I can't say from successful experience, but I would say CD 10 is probably a good day to start. I don't think you can use them too often! Good luck!! I hope we hear about another MFI Instead Cup success story soon!!

Yep, the instead cups are the ones! I would start as soon as you have FCM *or* a few days before your earliest O, whichever happens first. Good luck!

We used instead this past cycle with high hopes but they didn't work, we are going to try them again for another few cycles, I'd start about CD 10 and start using them every other day for about 4-5 days.

What is lemon water and geritol supposed to do?

THEY WORKED FOR ME!!! And on the first cycle of using them!! We started using them on CD 11 and BD'd every day for like 5 days straight...and we used them every time - and left it in for like 8 hours each time.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

the lemon water is a natural cleanser..but it has to be real lemons! You mix a lemon with warm water 1 or 2 times a day...then the geritol..well some people swear by it but the company will not take credit for fertility..but there is a saying there is a baby at the end of every bottle! if you go to the jm search and type in one of those you will find info..we talked alot about it on our ttcma board. There were a few girls who were told they would never concieve withouth medical assistance but they did this and they got pregnant naturally! So im willing to try anything..we have had a failed ivf and iui and a few medicated cycles so im up for anything at this point! (after 3 years)

Thanks Keri..i think thats what ill do!! i hope it works on the first time for me too!

Keri, so you say you bd'd every day for 5 days, isn't this a no no for male factor infertility? Obviously you conceived but everything I've read and been told said to dtd every other day with male factor problems. I think I asked you on another post about soft cups, did you use them at night and then sleep with them in all night or did you use some in the morning and walk around with them? Also, did you do any elevating yourself afterwards or anything?

Sure, anything is worth a try, I'll have to look up info on that stuff.

as far as bding every day..it was in the past a no no to do it everyday..but they have a new recent study that shows that doing it every day is better b/c you are constantly having to make new sperm so they are flushing out the other sperm as you go..kwim? good luck..hope you get that bfp!

Hey ladies~
Sorry its take me awhile to respond.
ANYWAYS-- so yes- DH and and I BD like 5 days in a row. One day we'd BD at night, the next in the morning OR night-- we'd switch it up like that.
I DID hear to BD every other day with low sperm count but like jesse0505 said "sperm remakes it self every day so BDing everyday basically flushes out then old and makes room for the new! We had tried the "BD every other day" for 14 looong months--- so we changed it up- used the cups AND BD every day for 5 days and WALAA!!! So- I'd say experiment with BDing everyday-- its worth a shot right? If it doesn't work, just try again the next month.
As hard as it was to TTC for so long, month after month, DH and I tried "new" strategies every month- almost like a game. So instead of thinking "OMG- it didn't work this month"....tell yourself- okay, what new thing can we try next month....You're bound to get pregnant sooner or later so make it fun, make it a game. You must NOT stress about it- that is one known fact that will work against you...so relax and like I said- Make love to your husband, don't just "DO IT"- it really helps. I don't know if you know what I mean- but its what helped DH and I keep going month after month.

Thanks for the tips Keri, I am excited to try again this cycle, and I am going to experiment with bding every day for 3-5 days, I've already warned dh lol...my most fertile days are CD 13, 14, and 15 so we'll definitely at least aim for those days, maybe even CD 16 for good measure and we'll be trying to soft cups again.
