I'm new to this board. I have a big boy (4yrs old) My DH had surgery for varicocele in the pass, to be excat on 2004. I have endometriosis and had surgery on 2004 also. 7 month after my DH surgery I got the BFP...Now we are TTC#2. We went to the RE 2 weeks ago and my DH still have low mobility . I'm kind of depress at this time, so I'm not planning to try this cicle.

Hi! Welcome to the board! I'm sorry to hear you're still dealing with low motility, but keep on trying!! It happened before so it can happen again (I know that's not reassuring, so please don't be mad at me for saying it). It's hard to keep on trying, but our host Keri was given a very small chance on conceiving on their own and they got their BFP after 14 months. I'm sure she will tell you her story. Oh yeah, I'm Aimee and DH is Adam and we are ttc#1 using donor sperm as DH has a 0 sperm count.

Im Keri the host. I also have Endometriosis (Check out the TTC w/ endo board- Im host over there as well) AND DH had a count of just 7 mill but with only a 4% motility rate...meaning they were SUPER lazy swimmers. Doctor gave us a %5 chance of conceiving on our own so we tried clomid every month and did 2 artificial insemination's, but both failed. On month 14 of TTC- we tried Instead Cups. WE GOT PREGNANT and I am now 17 weeks.

Do not give up hope....IT ONLY TAKES ONE LITTLE SWIMMER

I don't know if I helped you at all but I hope I gave you a little motivation. Just keep trying....and one day it will happen again for you.

PS-- what were your hubbys counts??

DH and I are also TTC #2 and as you saw on my other post DH is going to have a varicocele surgery. I would also encourage you to keep trying but I do know how depressing it can be to TTC and feel like your chances are slim to none no matter what you do. My DH's counts are EXTREMELY low (1.3 million and 3.2 million on his first 2 SAs) and we don't know what they were when we got pregnant, but I doubt they were ever sky high. It CAN happen!

Aime I'm won't be mad at you at all. I kow that happened before, and I hope will happen again. I really don't want to try this cycle because is already too late..lol

Kery congrats on your BFP, I'll check that board in a little... The dr was more concer on his mobility that on the count, apperently his count is not to bad, I remember last time his count was 19000 millions so I guess it should be around that again, but like I said he was very concern on the mobility. I heard about instead cup but I really don't know how that works. Beside my endometriosis and DH with varicocele my uterus is retroverted. But next month I'll try like I tried before, with ice pack and a pillow after we BD. If doesn't work then I will look into instead cup, and I'll do one month instead cup and the next the pillow and Ice pack...lol
