Im just curious because my PCOS is starting to get a little more under control and now Im ready to work on DH!
Are any of you TTC without MA? Is there any way youve found to be able to track his progress without going to the doctor? Im gonna work at posting more on here, I promise!

I also wanna track down our paperwork and let you guys help me analyze his numbers because the doc didnt really do much but tell me it was low.

I copied this from another post from "Infertility Tricks" up above. A few of us have our DH's vitamin's listed up there.
This is what my DH takes daily:

L-carnitine (2000 mg/day)
Acetyl L-carnitine (1000 mg/day)
Vitamin C (1000 mg 2x a day)
Vitamin B12 (1000 mcg/day)
Vitamin E (400 IU/day)
Fish oil (1000 mg/day)
Men's multivitamin with Lycopene (1/day)
Fertilaid (3x/day)
Vitamin B6 (100mg/day)
L-lysine (500 mg/day)

I think when he is done with his 3-month supply of Fertilaid I am not going to re-order it b/c it's basically just a multi-vitamin with a proprietary blend and I have him on extra L-carnitine anyway. He won't be retested until December, 3 months after his varicocele repair. He has very low count 3.2 million/ml and motility of 36%. His morphology was a little low on one of his SAs as well. I don't know any way of tracking his progress at home. I wish I did though!!

I just had my DH on a multivitamin and added some 50mg or 100mg (can't remember) of zinc on the side. NO alcohol or coffee either

Ive been having a hard time getting him off the beer unfortunately. I think Im going to wait until I get my cycles going REALLY well and cut him off. Or until I go back to the doctor eventually..

That was the NUMBER ONE THING our fetility doctor told him (DH) to do....STOP DRINKING!!!!
The thing is.....sperm is made every 90 or so days. So whatever your hubby is doing TODAY will become effect in his sperm in 3 months!!!

For instance, my hubby stopped drinking in Jan when we visited the RE---we conceived exactly 3 months later!!! It could just be a coincidence but I thought it could have been the beer since we had been trying 14 months and had a few IUIs done prior to him not drinking.... (we got preg on our own by the way)

So I'd say make your hubby stop drinking now!!!!! Just tell him its worth it!!!
