It seems to be a routine for me to be on a constant lookout and googling for natural success conception for those under Male infertility. This is especially so on the days i feel so anxious and upset. i hv combed through almost all the possible forums.
hence to that it will be gd to have this thread.
can those who have been through this path encourage us with the following

a. Months of TTC:
b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology
c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no?
d. What do u think makes this conception possible:
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ?

TIA!!!!!!!!

hence to that it will be gd to have this thread.
can those who have been through this path encourage us with the following

a. Months of TTC: 38
b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology: 0% morph..and sometimes they said vol. was low too.

c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no?
Yep..after a failed ivf, failed iui, and failed medicated cycles and being told we had only a 1% chance of it happening on our own!

d. What do u think makes this conception possible:well for one...i took soy and epo..then dhs work made him go on a no drinking streak (lots of duis in his unit) and then when he started drinking again..it was hardly any!!
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ?
YOU BETCHA!! THAT IS HOW WE GOT HERE!! GOD IS LISTENING! HE HAS A PLAN FOR EACH OF YOU!! Im praying that everyone of you gets that well deserved bfp!! (Everyday!)
TIA!!!!!!!!

I am currently struggling with conception # 2 but I was a success story with conceiving my first child. So the info below pertains to when I was TTC my first.

a. Months of TTC: 26 months
b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology: Count and motility
c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no? Yes, we conceived completely naturally
d. What do u think makes this conception possible: First and foremost it was my Lord and Savior that made that conception possible, my son is a complete miracle, we were given a 1-3% chance of conceiving naturally and they wanted to rush us into IVF, we couldn't afford it so we set up a place for a second opinion, I purposely set it up 1 day after my period was due that month in case God wanted to bless us before the appointment so we wouldn't have to go, well he did, 24 hours before that appointment we got our first BFP which resulted in a beautiful baby boy.
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers? Yes, the Lord hears our prayers, he doesn't always answer them in our time but when he does answer them we look back and realize it couldn't have come at a better time, knowing that God is hearing me and that he wants to give me the desires of my heart is what keeps me going.

a. Months of TTC: not many.
b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology everything
c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no? my m/c was conceived by IUI w/donor sperm and then I conceived our dd "the old fashioned way" with a friend of mine
d. What do u think makes this conception possible: An amazing friend who offered us sperm and an amazing husband who was open to the idea of raising technically another man's kids. If it weren't for his selflessness I wouldn't get to be a mother.
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ? yes

a. Months of TTC:21

b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology: 0 sperm count

c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no? no, we did a donor IUI

d. What do u think makes this conception possible: I have no known fertility problems, so I took Clomid to boost our chances of success with the IUI, did an HCG trigger and with a well timed donor IUI we still didn't have many sperm to work with, only 1.5 million.

e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ? It was hard to believe in prayers while we were trying after getting more and more bad news every appt, it seemed that way sometimes, but the day I found out I was pregnant the first thing I found myself doing was thanking God. So even though my faith waivered at times, we made it through and it's true God doesn't give you more than you can handle.

Well, when we conceived our son it only took 6 months and DH had not had a SA, so we had no idea at the time that we were dealing with male infertility. DH's urologist thinks his count was higher when we conceived and has decreased due to a varicocele. But we are pretty sure his count was always on the lower end (I doubt it could decrease THAT dramatically in 2 years). At any rate I consider our son a miracle.

a. Months of TTC: 6 months
b. Problem: Very low count (3.2million/ml) and motility 36% with borderline low morphology
c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no? Yes, good old fashioned BDing.
d. What do u think makes this conception possible: We used preseed, and I took mucinex that cycle. But we have tried that and much more since then, so I really think he was just a miracle.
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ? Yes. It is so hard at times to keep having faith when so many other people are being blessed with babies and we aren't. But I do believe God hears my prayers and knows the desires of my heart. I have no idea how or when he will answer my prayers, but someday I will understand.

a. Months of TTC: lost count but about 3 years.
b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology: low count (16mil) low mobility, morphology good,
c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no?: yes all natural surprise BFP
d. What do u think makes this conception possible: been giving him HCG shots for the past 3 months (for weightloss not TTC , and I started taking a very green supplement and lost 30 pounds. so naturally we BD more often as well thanks to the weight loss.
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ? I am but more so am a believer in it happening when we least expect it. in Gods timing.

Well, I usually posted over in the TTC 1yr+ board (and then lost my username and password when we changed computers-lame!) so I was never able to post. I definitely have an encouraging post... we found out we were pregnant in November and found out three weeks ago it's with twins!

a. Months of TTC: 13 months for this pregnancy (took 7 months for DD)
b. Problem: Sperm count, mobility or morphology: 0% mobility
c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way : yes/no?yup, technically! just a couple of months before I was scheduled to start clomid and possibly talk about IUI next fall.
d. What do u think makes this conception possible: DH had vericocele surgery at the end of August-conception happened 77 days after his surgery. And ironically, I got pregnant about a week after his urologist told him at his follow-up appt that it could take up to a year to see results, but keep trying, we were kind of discouraged after that. He goes for his follow-up SA this week so I'm REALLY interested in seeing what his numbers are.
e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ? unbelievably. I believe these babies are complete miracles.

Keep your chin up ladies! I know it's so hard...

Wow, your having twins with a natural conception? No meds? That is certainly a miracle! Please let us know your dh's SA, very curious to hear what his numbers were like with conceiving twins.

I'll definitely update once we get the results back Might take a month or so-he's about to leave for a few weeks for work, so I'm not sure if he'll have his appointment before he goes or (most likely) after he gets back!

Late in responding, and it wasn't a natural conception but I consider it a success too.

a. Months of TTC: I think it was about 20 months

b. Problem: no spermies due to a genetic condition DH was born with that we discovered when we started working with a RE who ordered a S/A.

c. Natural conception (i.e the old fashion way) : no, we were successful with IUI using donor sperm.

d. What do u think makes this conception possible: I have to quote Heather on this one, "an amazing husband who was open to the idea of raising technically another man's kids. If it weren't for his selflessness I wouldn't get to be a mother." I believe DH handled his MFI so much better then I did, I just sat and cried for hours when we found out. He immediately brought up using donor sperm and after taking a few months off of TTC, that's what we did. And I know everyone really wants that biological child from both of us (and to be honest, I will probably always grieve that), but I can also tell you that DH is so in love with our little boy and no one would ever know that there wasn't a biological connection between them.

e. Are you a firm believer in prayers ? yes
