I have posted here a few times before, hope you all doing mind me asking a question.
I have the ovacue monitor and got my peak this morning (CD 12). The monitor says I will ovulate on CD 15. My husband has a low count, I have read that it is best to DTD every other day when there is a low count. Hubby and I DTD Last night (CD 11). Which would mean we should DTD CD 11, 13, and 15. Should we just skip CD13, and DTD on day 14 for a better chance of catching the egg?
My own opinion would be.....do it like you planned-- the 11, 13, 15.
My hubby had super low counts and we did it 4 days in a row and got pregnant--- Its up to you but I would do it as you had planned- don't skip a day...cause you never know if 'that' could have been the day!!!
I would do as planned as well, the sperm can live in there for days, I would aim for mornings on CD 13 and 15, I don't know how those monitors work but if its saying you'll O on CD 15 I'd try for morning because first of all I read that sperm is more active in the morning and second so that the sperm will be in there waiting before the egg is released sometime on CD 15. Do you usually peak 3 days before ovulation on those monitors though? I thought they worked like ovulation kits where you peak 24-36 hours before ovulation. I agree that every other day is better for low counts, I used to go about every 36 hours between bdings when trying for my son, so more like a day and a half then 2 days. So even bding CD 13 night, and CD 15 morning would be good, about a day and a half apart.
