Well I am spotting 3 days early, not pregnant, second month of clomid...I kept telling myself if 2 rounds of clomid didn't work, its onto IUI, but I am still hesitant...I think clomid is screwing me up rather then helping me out, I mean 3 days early spotting? Its shortening my cycles, gave me a super duper heavy but shorter period last month and now it may be messing with my progesterone because I am spotting way too early. Would you take a month break from the clomid and then move into IUI? Or would you stop putting it off, take clomid another cycle and do IUI? I just don't know what to do

well I saw your post on MA, so I'm not going to answer your questions about next cycle YET, but I can tell you I spotted way earlier on Clomid than I ever did without it and it wasn't due to progesterone. I am going to cross my fingers that the spotting is due to implantation and I hope you don't have to think about NEXT cycle!!!

update PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! It's too late to answer this, but I've read a lot of posts on clomid, and most people give it three months.

I stopped taking clomid, I couldn't handle the mood swings, hot flashes, early spotting, early ovulation, early periods, and super duper heavy periods, I don't need all that, I ovulate fine every month and have perfectly normal cycles...so we're back to trying on our own for now and if nothing by summer we're moving onto IVF.

I hope trying on your own works out and you dont have to move on to IVF but at least you have a plan!
