Hubby had an SA. I called to get the results and the nurse said that the RE wrote on the paper that his numbers were ok for either IUI or timed intercourse. Of course, I wanted to get the actual lab results and see the numbers for myself. Now I'm worried...here are the results:
Total sperm number: 378 million
Total motile sperm: 189 million
Count: 105 million
So those are above normal.
Motility is 50% (normal is 50% or more)
Morphology (Kruger Strict Criteria) is only 7% (normal is 14% or more and subfertile is 5-14%)
Now I'm freaking out because I thought everything was fine, but now after looking at his numbers, 7% morphology seems really low Any thoughts??
No worries at all! Most men never even beat 6% Kruger Strict Morph...I read the average man has a 4-5% Kruger Strict Morph...so 7% is not bad at all! I have known people to have gotten 0% Kruger Strict Morph and become pregnant naturally...those numbers all look great.
