Hello Ladies! I have not posted here before, but thought this would be the best place to ask my question. I am Anna and DH is Jon. We have DD Bella and just lost a baby.

When TTC our DD, my husband found out through testing that he has a vericocele in both testicles. After 2 SA, we naturally conceived our daughter. We are TTC again, and have started the tests over, and his SA was worse. That same month, I got pregnant again but lost the baby. I also have issues and I am starting Clomid next cycle, but I am spectacle as to how well it will work with my DHs issues.

He has an appointment for a surgery consult the first week and June and we were told that he would have his surgery a week after the consult. My question is, how long does it take for improved results after the surgery?

It takes at least 3 months and sometimes the greater improvements are seen 6-9 months after surgery.

My DH had significant improvements at his 3-month post-op SA, but he had also been on a hardcore vitamin regimine so we don't know for sure which made the difference. We are like you, we have a son we conceived naturally and we also conceived naturally again 3-months after his surgery but we lost the baby . At his 6-month post-op SA, the results were very similar to the 3-month post-op, so we are proceeding with IUI.

I would recommend the surgery, especially if your insurance covers it. According to DH, it wasn't *that* bad, and it is definitely worth a shot.
