Dh got a sperm analysis today, and reading online they aren't matching what the hospital says they should be. Can you give me some input.

Semen Volume: 1.5
Semen PH: 7.5
Sperm Motility: 40%
Sperm Mot Rate: 2+
Sperm count: 30million

30 million in 1.5 ml is not bad, did they give you morphology numbers?
my DH had only 16million per ml and we have been pregnant twice. good luck.

No, they never gave us morphology. They said they want 60million to 110million sperm count and 60% motility. We started him on some vitamins today praying they raise his numbers. Going to ask for a retest in 4months

If you don't mind me asking, how often did you BD and did you leave the instead cup in over night or for how long? Did you use preseed? I got some instead cups and am getting preseed tomorrow.

We didn't use preseed. After the doc told us that on a grading scale my hubby would only get c-.... We would BD as we pleased but around egg time we would every other day for a week. So if it was supposed to be Wed . We'd BD on Mon Wed then Fri. And we tried different times of the day. I tried to relax and not think about it . I would leave the cups in for at least 8hrs. The cups hold everything up so you can sleep or jump rope you're free. Good luck !!

Thanks hun! I ordered 50opk's, 50 preg tests, instead cups and some preseed yesterday. I think with his volume issue and my lack of fertile CM it wouldn't hurt to use preseed!

My husband had low volume too if they expect 100million from 1 ml they need to put him on clomid or something, I have my DH on tamoxifen and GNC mega man and his volume went from 1 to 3-4ml in about a month, his count went much higher too.
I also conceived the first time using instead cups and egg whites. last time was a huge surprise as we had given up hope and stopped TTC.
