In Jan. 2011 my DH had a vasectomy reversal. We have been trying since Feb. and no luck. With the last sample he had to go back and give the doc told him that his count is low...volume ok...motility 0. He said that the sperm has no tails! So...he said that we should do IVF....will that still work with no tails? I hope so...I'm so aggravated. sad I just want a baby with my hubby!

I'm sorry. I totally understand. I really want a baby with my hubby too.
Mine has only 2% that are shaped correctly. I am older too so with my old eggs and his abnormal morphology we are looking at less then a 1% chance on our own. We also have been told IVF or adoption is our best bet.
Therefore I totally understand what you are going through....and I am sorry. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I hope things get better for you. Is your hubby willing to do IVF?

My hubby is totally willing to do IVF!! He told me to get the ball rolling! My doc did some blood work on me less than or right at a year ago and said that i have plenty of eggs in reserve still, and I already have a son that is 18(a senior is high school this year!) . I'm 37. So, we will see! Waiting to get our first appointment with the specialist. Good luck to you and keep me posted!

Yes it will work because they can inject the sperm directly into your eggs. without tails the sperm cannot swim so IVF would be your best option , good luck!.
