Hello! I am visiting from the TTC w/PCOS board....

Today, DH and I had an IUI done. Hoping and praying that it worked; however, with the SA complete, DH's results was I guess you could say less than favorable. Before wash, count was 8 mil and 12% motility. After wash, his count was 14 mil and motility was 33%. RE was a little suprised and said that if this cycle doesn't work he is going to refer DH to a male fertility urologist to see if there's anything that can be done to help the situation.

He said I responded to the injectable meds "beautifully" and that if this IUI is unsuccessful, then it will be considered male factor, not me. (Whereas with PCOS I figured I was always the problem)

I should probably add that 3 years ago DH had a VR and at that time he was 42 with a count of 20 mil, now he's 45 and well his counts have went down considerably....

Welcome. My DH had a count of 10mil with 10% motility. He had a varicocele. We just found out we conceived naturally after 10 months, <1month till he was suppose to go get his surgery. Good luck with your IUI
