Hello ladies!! I have posted here before but it has been a while, we gave up on TTC for a while and now have jumped back into it after realizing that there is no way possible we can afford to adopt!!

Anyway, a few months ago DH's count was 5 mil. I don't know much about the motility and all that good stuff I just remember he said the count was very low. So, he ran blood work and everything looked normal, so he was sent to a urologist. He didn't find any varicoles (sp?) but he wanted an U/s to be sure. We have not gone for that because our co-pay for that sort of thing is very high, so we are holding off a couple months, since he said he was pretty sure there wasn't any anyway.

So, in the meantime, I ordered fertilaid for men and women, also, count boost and motility boost, and then fertili tea for myself! Hoping this works and we don't need to do the IUI's. Hoping this stuff helps DH's counts. Has anybody here tried any of these things? What were the results??

Fertilaid did not do much for my DH but then he did not take the 3 pills a day they recommend , I have heard of it working wonders for other men especially if a vitamin deficiency is whats causing the low count. Good luck!.

my hubby has been using it for a week now and he said he'll try it for 2 mths and if it doesn't work , then we'll find something else. no side effects, he's fine. we decided to use pre seed again, even though i wasn't too keen with it, i am not giving up on anything to help us. hubby is taking a multi vitamin too.

You all need to remember it takes a "minimum" of over 3 months for you to be able to become pregnant from any new treatment started, so if your dh started fertilaid today, pregnancy could not occur from that until 90 days later, it takes 78 days for the sperm to have any affect from new treatment and another 12 days to be able to fertilize...so do not give up on the fertilaid after only 2 months, it cannot work that quick! My dh has been on it and his counts were nearly normal last time, it could be in part due to the fertilaid and other supplements he is on.

Then also remember, even normal, completely fertile people do not become pregnant on the first try most of the time so even after the 90 days if you don't get pregnant immediately, keep trying for at least 3 more months, since the average time for a normal fertile couple to conceive is 3-5 months.
