Not letting me PM

Hiya,

I'm new to JM - I heard about the buy/sell cloth diaper forums at DS. This forum is locked, and to get in to buy you have to PM a mod.

When I try to PM it comes back with an error message stating that I am not allowed to PM. I've checked my settings and PMs are enabled. What's going on???

You need to have either 10 or 20 posts in order to use the PM system... I'm sure it's 10.

Thank you. I thought that it might be something like that. It does seem a bit odd though that I am not allowed to PM a mod! I wasn't trying to PM a normal member - What if you need to talk to a mod before your first 10 posts??
