I get notifications each time there is a new topic posted. I've tried to change my preferences so I don't get these emails, but I must be doing something wrong because I keep getting them.

What can I do to prevent getting these emails. my inbox is getting all filled up!

Hi there. I think if you look at the following you should be able to correct it:

In a reply - make sure that " Enable email notification of replies?" is not checked.

In your control panel - My Controls - Email Settings - make sure that "Enable 'Email Notification' by default?" is not checked.

I'm sure a mod will be by shortly to add anything I missed!

Yes, two places to check. First make sure you are not subscribed to any forums. (I am guessing you are).

Go to My Controls>>> then look under Subscriptions (on the left side column)

Click on View Forums>>> If you are subscribed to a forum you will see it there, check on the little box next to it and the click on unsubscribe.

Click on View Topics>>> Make sure you are not subscribed to any topics. If you are check the little box next to it and unsubscribe.

Also check your email settings>>>Look under My Controls>>> Then Options>> Then Email settings>> Make sure you are not set to receive emails.
