Is there any interest? I'm thinking in the spirit of flylady, Sandra Felton, CHAOS to CALM, etc. where we could post our daily tasks, celebrate accomplishments, encourage and hold one another accountable. We could also post product reviews, cleaning tips, etc.

I am not a flylady fan. I am a flylady flunkie lmbo! But I really like the idea! I hope there is some more interest. I could use some motivation in that department!

I do not know what/who flylady is but i would love to find out how to become better organized. We are in the process of putting our house on the market and I so need tips and help in the accountability department!

didnt there use to be a board like that here? housekeeping heaven or something like that?? i think its a great idea, and i did love the flylady idea just couldnt stick with itlol

Yes we used to have a board for this. It was closed because it was inactive for a few months. We would be happy to reconsider this. I think she wanted this to be not just housekeeping but organization too. I think we could make something a little different then simply housekeeping and cleaning. Not sure what to call it but it would be good to have something on organization, housekeeping, time management, etc. If that isn't what you had in mind please correct me. Also if anyone has a good idea for what to call the board if we did add it that would be great too. (I don't want it to be called anything with "flylady" in it because of trademark/copyright issues)

You are exactly correct on what I was hoping for...although this type of a board would encompass housekeeping and cleaning, it would also be about organizing time, finances, etc. A name...wow, that's hard!

Sorry, that's all I could come up with! I deffinately need some help getting my house in order. I thought when I was done at work and was home full time, stuff would get done - it hasn't! I am lucky to keep my kitchen clean! Haha! Maybe it is my first trimester!

My SIL does FlyLady when she isn't going crazy with house remodling stuff. She says the best aspect she got out of it was that she would get up and get dressed first thing in the morning (where when her boys were younger it might not be till 2 pm that she was able to have time to get out of her PJ's). She is beginning that aspect in her 3 year old daughter now and says at least that works great! Before she remodled her house, Flylady seemed to work pretty well for her, but she just hasn't had the time for it since.

Everyone is different and different things work for different people. I don't think I am a Flylady type of person!

I just wanted to add that I also like this idea as I sometimes "run out of ideas" of how to organize or keep things STAYING organized perhaps a "house organizational" board will do me some good LOL.
