I can't send a PM

I got a comment message and tried to reply with a PM or comment an it's not allowing me. Can someone help me? How do I send a comment or PM.

You should be able to pm now. Can you try clicking on my name and on the link where my screen name is there should be an option to "send a message" and try sending me a message? Let me know what error message you get if you can't send one.

This is the error message I get:
This message can not be sent because the recipient has their personal messenger disabled or they are in a member group not allowed to use the personal messenger.

This personal message has not been sent.

I got an e-mail from Justmommies with a comment from someone but can't respond to them. If their PM is disabled how do I send a comment. She said she sent me a comment because she couldn't send me a message. Thanks for all of you help

I see, my guess is you are trying to send a pm to a newbie that doesn't have PM abilities yet. If there email isn't set to private you should be able to email them through the board email system, just not the pm system.

I'm having the same problem. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that I'm relatively new. I completely understand why they wait, but I'm just curious as to how long I'll have to wait...

You're able to PM once you reach 10 posts. Make sure you've enabled your PM's in your User CP. And as mentioned previously, your recipient must also have 10 posts and have their PM's enabled as well.

That actually has been changed since the site was hacked. Members who are in premoderation are not able to use the PM system, but you are able to send an email.

I didn't know of the change since the incident. How long does the premoderation period last?

For security reasons, we are not releasing the exact criteria to be moved out of premoderation. We are very sorry that any of our members are in premoderation, but we value the safety of all of our members and felt this was a necessary precautionary measure.
